Ravens top Texans 25- 9

Lamar Jackson’s return for the Ravens proved to be a delayed gratification gift for all of Baltimore. Jackson completed 17 of 22 passes and threw for 1 interception. Jackson relied on the rushing attack to help carry the offensive load for the Ravens. J.K. Dobbins rushed for 22 yards and 1 touchdown but left the game with what now is confirmed as a torn Achilles and will be out for the remainder of the season.

Justice Hall added two rushing touchdowns for the Ravens to take the score to 25. Houston Texans fans can be encouraged from what they saw in first year quarterback C.J. Stroud. He completed 28 of 44 passes but did not turn the football over and still maintained a 78% QB rating. Texans completed a total of 13 passing first downs and accumulated a total of 268 yards. Defensively, Texans totaled 5 sacks for 46 yards. The Texans will host the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2 for Houston’s home opener. Baltimore Ravens travel to Cincinnati and face a wounded Bengals team looking to get their first win of the season.
