Raiders sign DE Malcolm Koonce
Las Vegas- The Raiders announced on Friday that they were going to sign 2021 NFL Draftee Malcolm Koonce.
Las Vegas decided that the needed more depth at the defensive end position and decided to go after Koonce in the 2021 NFL. The Raiders liked Koonce' size and his speed. Coming into the draft, Koonce's name was rumbling within scouts, because of his size and how he could be a game changer for the right organization.
The Raiders are looking for Koonce' to be that guy that they saw out in Buffalo. In his collegiate career, Koonce totaled 100 tackles (61 solo), including 22.5 for loss, 18 sacks and four forced fumbles. Koonce’s 18 career sacks rank tied for sixth in school history. Koonce has a change to be apart of something big, but first he has to prove to Jon Gruden that he can stand out in competition during training camp.
