As the lights shines bright in front of the national audience, the Raiders came out hot and showed glimpses of what they could be as a team, but then fatigue set in, momentum dwindled down and a lack of energy became visible.
The Silver and Black fell to 2-8 after losing to the Dallas Cowboys, 33-16. In a contest that was competitive in the first quarter, Dallas ultimately captured the lead, the momentum, and never looked back.
Dak Prescott passed for 268 yards and four touchdowns. The majority of his passes were to George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb. In addition to Pickens (nine catches, 144 yards, one touchdown) and Lamb (five receptions, 66 yards, one touchdown), Javonte Williams ran for 93 yards on 22 carries.
The Raiders struggled to keep up with the Cowboys' offensive firepower, as their defense failed to contain Prescott's precision passing and the running game led by Williams. Despite a promising start, the Raiders' lack of consistency and energy ultimately sealed their fate, leaving fans questioning their ability to compete at a higher level.
