Naomi Osaka cruses in victory over Madison Brengle 6-0, 6-4

Naomi Osaka continues her quest for another major. Osaka has looked sharp in the Australian Open, beating both her opponents in convincing fashion. In the match with Madison Brengle, Osaka was very aggressive with investing more with her backhand shots than forehand. In the first set, Osaka proved that she was wiling to take risks and make Brengle uncomfortable with more of the longer shots.

Osaka won the first set, 6-0. The second set was a little competitive. At times Osaka was too aggressive, which resulted in unforced errors for her. Inch by inch, Brengle's confidence started to rise and actually started to put together some good sets in the second. However, it was not enough, as Osaka finished Brengle in the last two sets.

Osaka advances to the next round to play a tough defender in Amanda Anisimova.
