Ice Trae freezes the Bucks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals 116-113

Atlanta- Trae Young put up 48 points in a win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Atlanta Hawks stole Game 1 from the Bucks with Young leading the charge. Young exploited Milwaukee's defense with driving to the lane and getting easy lay-ups or making some dicey passes to his teammates for highlight reels. The high screen and roll was the Hawks go to offensive strategy and it worked all night long for the Hawks.

The game itself was pretty intense late in the fourth quarter. The Hawks let a five-point lead slip with under a minute left in regulation. The Hawks' defense came up huge, as they closed out on the Bucks' three point shooters and forced them to take ill-advised shots down the stretch. When it was all said and done, once again the Hawks quieted the critics by playing team ball.

I think we can go as far as we want to," Young said. "I don't think there is a ceiling, unless you put the [NBA] Finals on it.. "I believe in this team, and we all believe in each other."

Young finished with 48 points and 7 rebounds.
