The New York Yankees STEM Scholars Program has embarked on their fourth annual year and will broadcast the NYC students who will spend one-year with the STEM educational Institute (SEI), with an on-field pregame ceremony on Friday, July 25th, to kick off the Yankees’ game vs. Philadelphia. The partnership between The New York Yankees and SEI helps underrepresented NYC high school students develop STEM expertise, financial literacy, and receive guidance on their mental health.
Alumni, Margaret De-Sosoo (2023), and Isatou Mybe (2024), have earned the opportunity to be program interns this year. After dedication, and commitment to the program, young talented students will receive, access to an alumni platform, a stipend, and college scholarship. The STEM Educational institute will be hosting a groundbreaking conference in May 2026, to bridge the widening gap between K-12 education and the rapidly increasing demands of AI.
