The Las Vegas Aces avoided being swept by Dallas by beating the Wings 99-84 on Thursday night behind a 32-point performance from A'ja Wilson.

Chelsea Gray scored 12 points and had nine assists for the Aces. Her career totals of 4,500 points and 2,000 assists made her the fourth player in WNBA history to reach this milestone. She has 2,003 assists.

Jackie Young scored 20 points, including a four-point play in the third quarter, and Cheyenne Parker-Tyus scored 13. The Wings were led by Paige Bueckers' 25 points, and Jessica Sheppard's 22 points and 14 rebounds.

After winning the first two meetings in Dallas, the Wings were seeking their first sweep of the Aces since 2018. On June 15, they defeated Las Vegas 96-66.

The Aces have won nine of their past 11 games but were coming off an 87-76 loss to New York on Tuesday night.

A'ja Wilson's dominant 32-point performance was crucial in securing the victory for the Aces. Her scoring ability provided the offensive spark needed to overcome Dallas's defense and keep the momentum in Las Vegas's favor. Wilson's leadership on the court also helped rally her teammates, contributing significantly to the team's overall success in avoiding the sweep.
