What is going on with the Raiders

It’s a confusing time in Las Vegas as Raiders remain the only winless team in the NFL falling 0-3 after Sunday’s 24-22 loss in Tennessee. Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry came up big in the first half for the Titans. Ryan Tannehill threw for 264 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score. Derrick Henry also ran for 85 yards and a touchdown. Henry also added 58 yards more receiving as the Titans (1-2) avoided their worst start since 2009 when they lost the first six games. "You only get what you fight for in this league," Titans coach Mike Vrabel said. "I thought they fought for it today. And I'm happy for them." As for the Raiders they start 0-3 their worst start since 2018. Trailing 24-16, the Raiders converted a fourth-and-15 and a fourth-and-10. Derek Carr then hit Hollins with a 9-yard TD pass on fourth-and-goal with 1:14 left. But Carr's 2-point conversion pass to tie the game was broken up by linebacker Dylan Cole. The Raiders had their fair share of chances to comeback and win however, they simply couldn’t get out their own way whether it was red zone penalties or turnovers the Raiders squandered opportunities for the third week in a row. "Just the overall feeling of losing is what breaks my heart," Carr said. "I've seen what it takes to win at this level. I believe in what we're doing, but we don't have the results yet." Reports started swirling that Raiders coach Josh McDaniels was late to his post-game press conference due to a private closed-door meeting with Raiders owner Mark Davis. No one is quite sure what was said but the frustrations reverberated around the room. “I am frustrated and angry. I expect more,” Devante Adams said, via The Athletic’s Vic Tafur. “It’s not easy to win in this league, we know that … but we expect more, and we’ll do better as we move forward.” Adams has been used sparingly over the last couple of weeks which has caused many to question Coach McDaniels play calling ability. Raiders didn’t do themselves any favors with the lazy start as they play two division rivals the Broncos and the Chiefs over the next couple of weeks. The Titans will face division rivals the Colts who are coming off a great upset against the Chiefs.
