After losing a couple of their star players in the portal, Houston is looking to give their tight ends more playing time as well as put them in position to excel. Houston added a hands-on tight end in Tanner Koziol, who is 6 foot seven and 240 pounds. TK has been a blessing for Houston because he is coachable, has great hands, and leads by example.

"Guys that can run and catch, when talking about TK" Fritz said. "A lot of people got away from playing tight ends because they just couldn't find those guys. They either couldn't block good enough or they couldn't run well enough to be a receiving threat."

The pieces are coming together, in a few weeks, we will be able to see what works and what does not, but in the meantime, UH have put some weapons in front of their QB.
