Miami's lost their first game of the season to the T-Wolves 131-106

Opening Night for the rest of the league kicked off on Wednesday, which meant that the Miami Heat was going to have their first home game of the season against the T-Wolves. Prior to tipoff, a lot of fans wanted to see how the new Maimi team pieces were going to fit in with Giannis, Klay Thimpson and Bobby Portis being the new players on the team.
That question was answered in the first quarter as all of the star players got to their spots on the floor and had a huge impact i the quarter. The pace was very frantic, which both teams wanted to implicate in their offense. Miami's hot shooting slowed a bit late in the first. It seemed like they were trying to force the ball more into the paint instead of rotating the ball around and finding a higher shot percentage. I guess Giannis was like give me the ball and get out my way. He started a 16-6 run, scoring 12 points by himself and putting his team back in the league, at the nine-minute mark in the second. Gianis put his imprint of the half and finished with 21 points. However, it was the second wave of defense that had no answer for Anthony Edwards and Lamello Ball, who combined for 38 i the half.
Down by 10, the Heat wanted to get the ball out of Ant Man's hands and not turned the ball over in the second half. The Heat had to dig themselves out of a huge whole as Ball and Ant Man scored in a blur to extend their lead to 16, but Ganis kept the Heat in striking distance. However, the third quarter belonged to Ant Man as he scored 13 points to potentially put the game out of reach.
Miami struggled to get anything going in the fourth. Outside of Bam ad Giannis, the Heat's scoring was non-existent, and they went onto lose their first game of the season.
Gainnis finished with 35
Ant finished with 45
