Tokyo- On Tuesday, the Olympic committee decided that they were not going to allow overseas spectators during the Olympic games.

The Olympic committee has been under a lot of pressure with making sure that participants, as well as limited guest that may attend the Olympic games in July are safe and comfortable. Since January, COVID-19 cases has increased in Japan and has halted normality. The Olympic committee has put together a list of safety protocol to make sure everyone in attendance follows procedure.

With cases still going up, the committee decided it was best not to have outside spectators, because they did not want to risk more cases increasing.
