Flau'Jae Johnson's 16-point performance led the way as No. 5 LSU extended its historic streak of 100-point games to eight, securing a dominant 112-35 victory over Washington State in the Reef Division championship game at the Paradise Jam tournament.

The Tigers' record-breaking run, which began with an opening-round 113-53 win over Marist, surpassed the previous NCAA record of six consecutive 100-point games set by the 1982 Louisiana Tech team—coached by LSU's current head coach, Kim Mulkey.

Johnson, a first-team all-SEC returner, was one of seven Tigers to score in double figures. Jada Richard contributed 14 points on perfect 4-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc, while Amiya Joyner, named the division's most valuable player, recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. ZaKiyah Johnson, Mikaylah Williams, Grace Knox, and MiLaysia Fulwiley each added 12 points to the balanced scoring effort.

Charlotte Abraham was the lone bright spot for the Cougars (1-7), scoring 10 points before fouling out in the final quarter. LSU reached the 100-point milestone late in the game, with Joyner's free throws at the 3:46 mark pushing the score to 100-32.
