The Warriors cash in a much-needed victory in Game 3, 114-97

Without Draymond Green in the lineup, due to him being suspended for stepping on Domantas Sabonis and Gary Payton Jr. suffering an illness, the Warriors needed Klay, Poole, and Curry to be the magicians that they are known for to help the Warriors get their first victory of the series.

The Warriors looked like the Warriors in the first half. They were getting wide-open shots in transition and knocking them down, crashing the boards and not allowing the Kings to get second chance opportunities. Outside of De'Aaron Fox, the Warriors put the clamps on Sacramento and did not allow any of the role players to be a factor. Curry and Wiggins combined for 29 points and extend their lead to double digits at the end of the break, 53-41.

With Golden State coming alive offensively, they wanted to limit their turnovers and continue to keep their foot on the Kings' neck in the second half. In the third quarter, GSW had only five turnovers, while forcing the Kings to turn the ball over six times. Each time, it seemed like the Kings would make a run and cut the Warriors' lead to single digits, the Warriors would respond. GSW, eventually sprung the game wide open and walked away with a decisive victory.

Curry finished with 36

Looney finished with 4 points and 20 rebounds
