VJ Edgecombe sends Team Vince home with a 25-24 victory over Team Melo

The young upcoming star in Philly named VJ Edgecombe looked the part of a rising superstar, as he helped scrap out a victory over Team Melo.

Prior to All Star weekend, Edgecombe's name has been on the "cracking" list as well as a player that everyone should look out for. In the game tonight, Edgecombe was very comfortable getting to his spots on the floor and making the right reads. In crunch time, Edgecombe did not shy away from the big moment and went down the lane for a potentially score. He was fouled as he was making his move. With the game on the line, he hit both buckets to send his team home with a victory.

"[Vince] told us, 'Why not just play hard?' Earlier today, after practice we all decided, man, we're just going to compete," Edgecombe said. "Vince, he just wanted me to be aggressive."
