Bradenton, FL- The Seattle Storm stops the Atlanta Dream in their tracks, as they pick up their eighth win of the season, 100-63.

With Sue Bird back in the line-up, the Storm did not miss a beat. Alysha Clark was hot in the first half, as she hit a couple of threes, had a couple of steals, and added an assist to her stat sheet to spring the Storm to a double-digit lead against the Dream. The Storm was having their way with the Dream, as they aggressively pushed the pace of the game, crashing the boards on the offensive side, and knocking down wide-open shots. Collectively, the Storm shot around 56% for the half and had a 47-28 lead.

In the second half, Jewell Loyd went to work on the Dream. Loyd exposed the Dream's defense, as she found the soft spot of the 2-3 zone. Loyd hit a couple of jumpers, threes, and cruised down the lane for a couple of layups to really put the game on ice for the Storm. Loyd finished the game with 20 points, 1 assist, and 2 rebounds. Breanna Stewart had a quiet game with 7 points, 3 assists, and 9 rebounds. Clark finished the game with 16 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds.

The key factors with the Storm winning against the Dream was just their pursuit on both sides of the ball. They were relentless and hassled the dream the entire game on the defensive end. They closed out on open looks and did not allow the Dream to get into their rhythm. On the offensive end, they controlled the boards, hit their open shots, and was very aggressive with driving down the lane and kicking the ball to a wide-open teammate. The Storm have been rolling and they are the only team that has only lost one game this season.
