With the momentum shifting to the Atlanta Dream side after a huge victory in Game 3, Angel Reese ad crew knew that they needed to keep the pressure on Gabby Williams and Veronica Burton. The first quarter for the Dream was nightmare on Elm Street for them. Allisha Gray got herself in foul trouble as she had to be iced on the bench with three fouls; Reese struggled to impact the game o the offensive side and was held scoreless in the quarter.

I do not know what Karl Smesko said to his group but the second quarter, Atlanta was a bit more intentional with getting to their spots on the floor and making the right reads. They cut down on their turnovers. I will say this; the ball was getting swung more to the wing instead of outside in and that created a bit of a problem late in the second. Golden State took advantage of that and had four steals, which turned into a 9-0 run, extending their lead to 12. At the end of the half, the Dream were done by 16.

Coming into the second half, the Dream wanted to get back to playing Dream basketball. Which meant, they were going to play more so inside out and let their intensity speak for itself. At the start of the third, you could see the Dream going into more of a zone, instead of playing man, trying to get Gabby Williams out of her comfort zone.

It was a back-and-forth intense game. Let's take it to the fourth! Down by eight, the Dream tried to fight back. Each time it seemed like ATL was in good position to make a run, Tiffany Hayes or Burton would respond to keep the Vaks' lead in tack. Eventually, they survived the Dream's vision and march back to California in a tied series., 67-62

R. Howard finished with 19
