Heading into the regular season, the 49ers' offense will look a tad bit different without Deebo Samuel and a running attack that would batter and suck the life out of defenses on the ground. However, change can be scary, but 49ers GM John Lynch is very optimistic with the new direction. “We’ll have enough guys come Week 1 to put a formidable group out there, then we’ll get some guys back throughout the course of the season. We’ll be OK there,” Lynch said.
The extended Brock Purdy's contract, which means the 49ers have hope that he is their go to quarterback that they were desperately looking for. Ricky Pearsall is one exception and has been exploded on the scene since his rookie year last season. He has stated that this will be an adjustment, but that's the process of the uphill direction of what the 49ers are trying to do to move forward. It will be very interesting to see if the 49ers are more of a pass-first team than rest years.
