Recipients of Fiesta Bowl Charities' 2024-25 Grant Cycle announced
After another impactful year of delivering impact to one million Arizonans statewide, Fiesta Bowl Charities will donate to 22 Arizona nonprofit organizations during this year's Grant Cycle, officially marking the start of the charitable giving season 2024-25. Fiesta Bowl Charities aims to create lasting positive change in Arizona communities by focusing on education, youth development, and overall community well-being. Their long-term goals include increasing access to educational resources, supporting programs that foster personal growth in young people, and enhancing the quality of life for all Arizonans through sustainable initiatives. By continually investing in local nonprofits, they hope to build a stronger, more resilient state for future generations.
In addition to supporting life skills for youth and young adults with autism with the grant awards, establishing college preparation programs for first-generation college students, expanding flag football programs for athletes with disabilities, and purchasing a van to provide preventative dental health care to underserved youth are just a few of the programs that will be implemented with the funding. These programs are expected to significantly enhance the quality of life for their participants by providing essential resources and opportunities. They will empower young individuals with autism to develop crucial life skills, support first-generation college students in achieving higher education, and offer inclusive sports opportunities for athletes with disabilities. Additionally, the mobile dental care initiative will improve the oral health outcomes for underserved youth, fostering a healthier community overall.
