Paul George gets his groove back, as he helped the Clippers win Game 5 against Dallas 154-111

Orlando- Paul George contributes to the Los Angeles Clippers going up 3-2 in the series against the Dallas Mavericks, 154-111.


In Game 5, the Clippers had everything clicking for them, as Paul George finally found his stroke. George was hitting from mid-range, finishing off drives, and shooting the three ball effectively. George has been in a shooting slump as of lates, so it was nice to see him finally have that break out game that fans are accustomed of seeing. Landry Shamet brushed off the rust from Game 4 and had an all- around game. Shamet was very aggressive on the defensive end. He had a couple of blocks and steals that turned into transition points for the Clippers. Shamet hit a couple of shots and provided a spark for the Clippers' bench.


The Clippers were shooting are 63% from the field and shot around 55% from behind the arc. Los Angeles shut down the three-point shooting of Dallas, as they challenged shots and did not let Seth Curry get open. From start to finish the Clippers dominated Dallas by playing their game, not allowing Dallas to get into rhythm, and getting quality shots from their star players.


Kawhi Leonard finished the game with 32 points, 4 assists, and 7 rebounds. George finished the game with 35 points, 2 assists, 3 rebounds.Shamet finished with 11 points, 1 assits, and 4 rebounds.
