On Tuesday, the NBA play-in tournament kicked off with the Hornets versus the Heat and the night cap game were the Blazers versus the Suns.

Let's kick it off with the Hornets winning in OT, 127-126 against the Heat. The game itself was pretty competitive, but things turned sour for the Heat as their All-Star Bam Adebayo left the game right before half, due to a back injury. The Hornets took advantage of that and sprinted to a double-digit lead, heading into the fourth.

Turnovers helped Miami get back in the game and we have to give a nod to Davion Mitchell, who put the Heat on his back. Mitchell ended up catching fire and took over. He finished the night with 28.

With under 13 seconds left in regulation, the Hornets hit a crucial three to tie the game up and sent it into OT.

The Hornet's inexperience was one of the key factors that had their fans out of their seats, screaming at the television. With under .30 ticks left, the Hornets turned the ball over, which lead to the Heat scoring five points in a few seconds. Clinging onto a one-point lead, the Hornets held their breaths as Miami attempted to pull the trigger on a three, but air mailed it.

After it was all said and done, the Hornets will sit and relax for a couple of days, waiting to see who will win between the 76ers and the Magic. Melo finished with 30 points.

The night cap was not a not cap, but a nailbiter as well with a shocking end! The Phoenix Suns went to battle against a hungry underdog in the Portland Trailblazers. Let's skip to the fourth with under four left in regulation. The Suns blew a nine-point lead and was clinging onto a three-point lead. The Trailblazers went on a 14-4 run to have the Suns' chest beating fast. Devin Booker, who is known to be Superman was very quiet. He had to be, because he picked up his fifth foul and played a bit conservative.

Deni Avdija,, who was on one last night, hit a clutch three pointer with under 30 seconds in the game to silence the crowd and pulled out the 114-110 victory over the Suns. Avdija led the Blazers with 41 points
