The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game delivered a record-breaking night in Indianapolis, with Team Collier defeating Team Clark 151-131 in the highest scoring game in All-Star history. Napheesa Collier headlined the night, setting a new All-Star scoring record with 36 points in just 19 minutes. Skylar Diggins added to the historic evening by recording the first-ever triple-double in WNBA All-Star history, finishing with 15 assists, 11 rebounds, and 11 points. The game was filled with energy and playful moments, including rookie Paige Bueckers sinking the first 4-point shot in All-Star play, Kelsey Plum entertaining the crowd with half-court antics, and Rhyne Howard hitting a three-pointer from the bench.

The festivities kicked off the night before with the Skills Challenge and 3-Point Contest. Natasha Cloud narrowly edged out Erica Wheeler to win the Skills Challenge and announced she would use her $55,000 prize for a house down payment. In the 3-Point Contest, Sabrina Ionescu claimed her second title by scoring 30 points in the final round, including a streak of 11 consecutive makes. Ionescu generously split half of her $62,600 winnings with rookie Sonia Citron and her SI20 Foundation.

Despite being sidelined by injury, Caitlin Clark was present and supportive as the captain of Team Clark. The weekend also served as a platform for player advocacy, with athletes wearing “Pay Us What You Owe Us” shirts and fans chanting for fair compensation during Commissioner Cathy Engelbert’s remarks. These statements highlighted the ongoing CBA negotiations, ensuring that the fight for better pay remained in the spotlight.

Overall, the 2025 All-Star Weekend blended record-setting performances, joyful competition, and a unified call for progress within the league. With standout moments on the court and a powerful message off it, the event captured the spirit of the WNBA and left fans energized for what’s next in the season.
