Chelsea Gray breaks WNBA history, becoming the first player to hit a game tying three and a game winning three in the same game

On Thursday, the Las Vegas Aces won 86-84 over the Indiana Fever thanks to two buzzer-beating three-pointers from Chelsea Gray after Caitlin Clark's uncharacteristic errors.

Indiana was up by three with seven seconds left in regulation when Clark missed two free throws. The Fever were ahead by a point in overtime when she lost the ball with seven seconds remaining. Clark had 20 points, eight assists, and eight turnovers.

As a result of A'ja Wilson's 26 points and 13 rebounds, Gray was able to score the winning basket against Clark after the key defensive stop by Wilson. Jackie Young contributed 22 points, including 15 consecutive points to close the first half and begin the second. Gray had 11 points, hitting three 3s.

Las Vegas overcame a 20-point first-half deficit, a three-point deficit at the end of regulation and a two-point deficit at the end of overtime to salvage a win in the three-game season series.

Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 28 points but missed a late free throw in regulation before Clark missed. Aliyah Boston added 21 points and 12 rebounds.
