The No. 2 seed Las Vegas Aces advanced to the WNBA Finals for the third time in four years after defeating the No. 6 seed Fever 107-98 in overtime on Tuesday, clinching the semifinal series.

The Aces led by as many as nine points, but the Fever mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Aces 23-15 to force overtime. This remarkable effort came without All-Star Kelsey Mitchell, who left in the third quarter due to severe leg cramps, and Aliyah Boston, who fouled out in the fourth.

In overtime, Chelsea Gray took over, scoring. She hit eight of her 17 points, including back-to-back 3-pointers, to secure the win. A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young led the Aces in regulation, combining for 65 points—a new WNBA playoff record for teammates. Wilson finished with 35 points, seven rebounds, five assists, four steals, and four blocks, becoming the first player in WNBA history to achieve 25-plus points, three-plus blocks, and three-plus steals in consecutive games. Her eight career 30-point playoff games tie her with Breanna Stewart and Diana Taurasi for the most all time.

“It’s not just one person, it’s not just five people, it’s everybody,” Wilson said. “Everybody you see contributed to this game… that’s the same of a championship team. We’ve worked so hard to get to this point. People counted all of us out, but we’re making it to the Finals right now. We’re not done.”
