Lakers makes a comeback in the second half to escape with a 114-113 victory over Phoenix

Los Angeles- Lakers complete a second half comeback with Anthony Davis being the centerpiece in the victory.

After being down in double digits against the Phoenix Suns in the first half, the Lakers' offense started to come alive in the second half. Anthony Davis started to get hot from behind the arc in the third quarter. Davis went 6 of 6 from three point land in the quarter and was a huge part with the Lakers cutting the Suns' lead to one point to finish out the third, 92-91.

With 10 minutes left in regulation, the Lakers took the lead for the first time in the game. LA went up nine points after a 10-4 run, but the Suns kept fighting back. The game was pretty tight late into the fourth.

Quinn Cook hit a game winning lay-up, with 15 seconds left in the game, to lift the Lakers up 114-113 over Phoenix in a nailbiter.

Davis finished with 35 points, 3 assists, and 6 rebounds.

After getting the victory over the Suns, the Lakers close out their preseason undefeated with a 4-0 record in an uncanny season. The Lakers will start their season Dec. 22 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
