Jonquel Jones wins All Star MVP

CHICAGO — Jonquel Jones delivered a near triple-double and made league history as Team Spoon defeated Team Coop 129–122 in the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday night at the United Center.

Jones filled the stat sheet with 22 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists to earn All-Star Game MVP honors. The New York Liberty center became the first player in WNBA history to win regular-season MVP, WNBA Finals MVP, Commissioner’s Cup MVP and All-Star Game MVP during her career.

The honor carried special meaning for Jones, who played shortly after the death of her aunt. She leaned on basketball as a source of comfort and responded with one of the most complete performances of the night. Whether she was scoring inside, controlling the glass or finding open teammates, Jones provided Team Spoon with a steady presence throughout the high-scoring contest.
