After losing a game against the Cowboys where they were up big last weekend, the focus against the Bears this week were taking what the defense gave them and capitalizing off of it. Since it was a black Friday game, Philadelphia and their fans dressed in all black, but it seemed like their offense were the horror that was the death in the first half. From dropped passes to Jalen Hurts not throwing balls on time, the offense looked stiffened. At the end of the half, the Eagles only had a total of 83-yards. Despite having only 83-yards of total offense, the Eagles were down only a touchdown at the end of break, 10-3
Philadelphia's second half started off with a touchdown. It started off with a penalty on a third and short that resulted in a first half. Five plays later, Hurts and AJ Brown hooked up for a 33-yard touchdown. They missed the PAT, which made it a 10-9 game. Philadelphia's defense was like tag me in and created a turnover as they picked off Caleb Williams. It seemed like momentum was shifting to the Eagles and they would get points off the turnover, but o a third and 1, Hurts fumbled the ball and gave it back to Chicago. Chicago scored twice on six minutes drives to go up two possessions.
Let's head to the fourth with under four minutes, needing a touchdown. Hurts and Brown connect for a much-needed touchdown but failed on a two-point conversion to cut the Bears' lead to nine. Philadelphia's offense was dried to the bone tonight and major mistakes hurt the Eagles as they went on to lose 24-15. Hurts finished 19 of 34 with 230 yards through the air, 31 yards on the ground, 2 td's and 1 pick. AJ Brown had his second consecutive game where he had over 100 yards, catching the ball. He finished with 10 catches for 132 yads with 2 td's.
