Credentials for Olympic Games will go to individuals who are essential or have operational roles

Tokyo- The Olympic committee has decided to only allow individuals that are essential or have operational roles to be credentialed for the Olympic Games.

The Olympic Games will feature less attendance, as well as less people who will be credentialed due to the global pandemic. The Olympic committee has been very strict with prohibiting larger gatherings and decided last week that there will be no overseas spectators.

The IOC EB has cancelled or reduced the IOC Guest Programs, as well as invitations to Olympic athlete legends. It will also not grant accreditation to any accompanying guest in any category.
