Coco Gauff advances after Brady suffered an injury at the start of the second set

Seattle- Gauff will advance to the next round after Brady suffers an injury.

Coming into the match against a tough opponent in Jennifer Brady, Coco Gauff had to be the aggressor. In the first set, Gauff was near perfect with her backhand and forcing Brady to overthink her returns. In the set, Gauff was winning 63% of her first serves and finished the set with an amazing 6-1 victory.

At the start of the second set, Brady had to retire because of an injury that she sustained. Gauff will advance to the next round and play Ons Jabeur.
