What more can you say about Tyler Seguin and his ability to create great shot selection for his teammates. This was just a preseason game, and he flat out took over. After going up 2-0 in the first period, the Stars' defense somehow got a bit conservative, and the Blues caught them napping. They tied the game up with two of their own goals. The third period was when Seguin took over and called his own name for the sore as well as assisted on the dagger goal, which helped Dallas extend their lead and eventually won the game.

After the game, some of the Stars players said that they felt l good about what they have improved offensively, but they want to improve more on the defensive side of the stick. The Stars last preseason game is on Saturday against Colorado
