Chargers avoids late charge by Vikings 28-24

CHARGERS WIN ON A PICK BY LB KENNETH MURRAY IN THE ENDZONE, PRESERVING A 28-24 WIN OVER THE WINLESS MINNESOTA VIKINGS.

The LAC couldn't put MN away. Every time they pulled away, back came MN. As usual, the Chargers' offense was spectacular, as Justin Herbert threw for over 400 yards, and Keenan.

Allen made his way into the Charger record books by becoming their 2nd all-time leading pass receiver, passing Lance Allworth.

The Charger's Defense came up big, ending the game with a game saving pick in the endzone by LB Kenneth Murray. The pick preserved the Chargers 28-24 victory, which was almost given away by Coach Brandon Stayley's decision to go for it on 4th & 1 from his own 20-yard line with 1:51 left in the 4th quarter, while clinging to a 4-point lead. He was bailed out by his defense after Vikings QB K Cousin's pass was tipped & picked in the endzone. If Staley keeps making calls like that in critical game situations, it won't be long before he's being referred to as the Chargers' former head coach.
