The Atlanta Dream will have two players representing the franchise at the All-Star WNBA showcase event later this month in Indianapolis.  Rhyne Howard was named a reserve for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game on Sunday after Allisha Gray was named a starter earlier this week.

Gray has been an All-Star in all three seasons since joining Atlanta from Dallas before the 2023 campaign. This marks her first selection as a starter, making her the first Dream player to start in the All-Star Game since 2018. She is scoring more than 19 points per game this year, a career best.

Howard, the No. 1 pick for Atlanta in the 2022 Draft, returns to the All-Star Game after making it in her first two seasons. She missed selection last year but is now scoring almost 17 points per game.

Gray and Howard become the third and fourth players in Dream franchise history to make three All-Star Games with the team. This marks the seventh time Atlanta has had multiple representatives on the All-Star team—a reflection of the team's strong season so far, with an 11-7 record tied for the fourth-best in the WNBA.  Their outstanding performances have been instrumental in propelling the Dream to a competitive position in the league. Gray's scoring ability and leadership on the court have provided a consistent offensive boost, while Howard's versatility and defensive prowess have added depth to the team's strategy. Together, they have helped the Dream maintain momentum and solidify their status as formidable contenders for the playoffs.

The game is set to take place on Saturday, July 19, at 8:30 p.m. ET.
