Aces lose in OT against Lynx 90-89
Las Vegas- Despite the Aja Wilson and Liz Cambage scoring in double figures, the Aces five game win streak was dismantled by the Minnesota Lynx.
Down by 10, with under four minutes left in regulation, the Aces got some crucial stops that they needed down the stretch to make it a close game. Kelsey Plum, Wilson, and the Aces' bench went on a 10-2 run to cut the Lynx's lead to two with only 10 seconds left in the game.
After the Lynx missed a shot they needed, Wilson cleaned up the board and was fouled with 2.8 ticks left on the clock. Wilson nailed both free throws to tie up the game and pushed the game into overtime.
In overtime, both teams looked tired and could not string together any type of offense. Las Vegas hit a couple shots late, but Sylvia Foles scored on a put back rebound with 1:20 left in OT, which was the game winning shot.
Cambage finished with 18 points and 20 rebounds
Wilson finished with 28 points and 14 rebounds
Plum finished 15 points
