Nola Henry has been named assistant coach for the three-time world champion Las Vegas Aces.

Henry has extensive WNBA experience, having served as assistant coach for Dallas Wings in 2025 and head coach for Unrivaled's Rose BC for the past two seasons, where she worked with Aces guard Chelsea Gray. Her previous experience includes working as a player development coach for the Los Angeles Sparks in 2023, as well as working as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Sparks in 2024. Earlier in her career, she held positions with the Connecticut Sun from 2020 to 2022, where she graduated from being an intern to an assistant basketball operations manager during this time.

Her coaching career began in college basketball as a graduate assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson University (2018-19) and the University of Hartford (2019-20).As a player, Henry competed at the University of Massachusetts from 2012 to 2014 before transferring to the College of Charleston, where she was a two-year starter from 2015 to 2017.

“Nola brings a fresh, young coaching perspective to our group this year,” Hammon said. “She’s a very cerebral coach who sees the game at a high level and the way she can connect with players on and off the court will be a valuable asset to our staff. She brings great energy to the group, along with a wealth of WNBA experience, and that will be advantageous as we seek our fourth championship this season.”
