Dodgers have selected Russell Sandefer in fourth round of the MLB Draft

The Dodgers have selected right hand pitcher Russell Sandefer as their draft pick.

If you are not too familiar with the draft choice, Sandefer has had a good career with the Florida Gators. He pitched in 19 games and started 12 of those. Sandefer is the type of player that fits with the Dodgers and what they are doing developing players. Sanderfer is an underdog but has fought his way up. After transferring to FL, Sanderfer was 3-2 with a 4.42 ERA with 60 strikeouts.

There's some room for Sandefer to grow, but the Dodgers likes what he brings to the table.
