The Suns take a 2-0 lead against the Bucks in the NBA Finals

Phoenix- The Suns defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 118-108.


After having a sensational game in Game 1, the Suns' offense had a slow start in the first quarter. After being down by nine. Devin Booker, Jae Crowder, and Mikal Bridges put together a 12-6 run to cut the Bucks' lead to three. The storyline of the first quarter was Phoenix hitting eight three pointers and was shooting 50% from behind the arc.



Phoenix was getting after loose balls, following up on second chance opportunities, and defending the Bucks pretty well in the second quarter. Chris Paul started to get his offense going and hit a couple of shots mid-way in the quarter. Phoenix finished up the half on a 30-16 run to take a 56-45 lead into the locker room.



The Paul show continued in the second half. He set up his teammates with open look three point shots and scored seven points in the third quarter. After the the Suns' double figure lead was cut to single digits, Booker and crew went to work. Phoenix hit seven threes in the quarter, which extended the lead to double digits at the end of the third.



Pick and roll and high screen action killed the Bucks in the fourth. Paul and Booker was having their way on those types of play in the fourth and put some distance between the Bucks and themselves late in the game. The Suns went on to secure a victory in Game 2.


Paul finished with 23 points and 9 assists

Booker finished with 31 points and 5 rebounds
