Las Vegas Aces star A’Ja Wilson has re-signed with the Aces on a three-year, $5 million deal, marking the largest contract in WNBA history, according to reports.

According to Spotrac, Wilson will earn $1.4 million in year one, $1.65 million in year two, and $1.95 million in year three. The Aces on Wednesday announced Wilson had re-signed with the team, but did not disclose terms of the fully guaranteed deal. In each of the past two seasons, Wilson earned $200,000 in WNBA salary.

Her record-setting contract comes weeks after the WNBA and Players' Association agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement, which raised WNBA players' maximum and minimum salaries as well as franchise salary caps.Wilson has won three WNBA Finals championships in eight seasons with Las Vegas after being selected No. 1 overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft.

The revised WNBA-CBA agreement runs for seven years from 2026-32. Each team's salary cap increased from $1.5M in 2025 to $7M in 2026.

Wilson has earned a number of accolades over the course of her career, including four MVP awards and three WNBA championships. The 6-foot-4 center also earned seven All-Star selections, six All-WNBA honors, five All-Defensive selections, led the league in blocks five times, won three Defensive Player of the Year awards, led the league in scoring twice, and won two Finals MVP awards.

Wilson became the first WNBA or NBA player to win the MVP, Finals MVP, scoring title, and Defensive Player of the Year all in the same season in 2025.
