Supergoal Shoe Capsules Bring Soccer Fever to Walmart Ahead of World Cup Buzz

As excitement surrounding global soccer continues to build ahead of this summer’s major international tournaments and the countdown to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, collectible toy maker PMI is looking to capitalize on the sport’s growing popularity with the launch of its new Supergoal Shoe Capsule collection, now available exclusively at Walmart.


The new blind-box collectible line combines the thrill of surprise unboxing with soccer fandom, giving fans the chance to collect miniature versions of some of the world’s biggest stars. Each capsule is designed to resemble a premium golden soccer cleat, doubling as both packaging and a display case for collectors.


Inside every Supergoal Shoe Capsule is a 3-inch articulated player figure featuring six points of articulation, along with a player-specific accessory, a customizable field base that connects with others to create a full soccer pitch, a mini poster, two stickers, and a collector’s guide.

The latest international collection expands the Supergoal brand with 61 players to collect, including soccer icons Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Kylian Mbappé, while also featuring rare golden chase figures designed to appeal to dedicated collectors.


Retailing for $9.97 and recommended for ages 6 and older, the collectibles are positioned as an affordable entry point for young fans and seasoned collectors alike. The blind-pack format taps into the continued popularity of mystery collectibles while encouraging repeat purchases as fans work to complete the full roster.


The launch builds on PMI’s successful revival of the Supergoal brand, which previously introduced officially licensed Major League Soccer editions featuring stars such as Lionel Messi after his arrival in MLS. Those earlier releases also utilized soccer cleat-shaped capsules and connectable field pieces, helping establish the collectible concept with soccer fans.  

With soccer’s popularity continuing to surge in North America and anticipation growing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, manufacturers across the toy industry have been expanding soccer-themed merchandise aimed at both longtime supporters and new fans discovering the sport. Supergoal’s latest global lineup reflects that momentum by featuring internationally recognized players from across the soccer world.
