South Carolina gets the number 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament

The big day has finally arrived for schools to see if they made it into the big dance as far as the NCAA Tournament goes. For the next three weeks, the term March Madness will be a trending topic or phrase as some of the unknown schools will get a chance to knock of some of the favorites.

After a shocking loss to Texas in the SEC Championship, SC looked to be in trouble of their number 1 seed being a potential two. However, their strength of schedule earned them the number 1 seed in the tournament. They will host the first two rounds of the tournament and will wait to play either Southern or Samford on Saturday.
