South Carolia- The Gamecocks defeated OU to advance to the Elite Eight.

Since the loss to Texas in the SEC Championship game, the Gamecocks has taken that loss personal, and it has shown in the tournament. They have dominated their opponents on both sides of the ball. Prior to tipoff against OU, many fans thought this would be a very intriguing game, since OU had shocked the world in the regular season by giving South Carolina their first loss, but that was not the case.
Ta’Niya Latson and Raven Johnson was OU's worst nightmare. Both players played extremely well and had it clicking on both sides of the ball. Latson and Johnso combined for 46 points. Outside of their scoring, they did not let the Sooners get into rhythm from three-point land. As the world knows, OU has been dangerous from behind the arc. When they get hot, it could be a very long night for their opponents.
After the game, Johnson stated that the team feels like they are starting to improve, but have areas that needs more tuning u. “We have a lot of room to grow, we’re growing at the right time,” Johnson said. “When everyone is clicking the ceiling is high for us.”
