Sony Music Entertainment/Sony Pictures Television introduces new series

Leo Messi Management will partner with Sony Music Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television to produce and globally distribute the new animated series, “Messi and the Giants,” inspired by Argentinian football superstar, Leo Messi. The animated series will depict a 12-year-old Messi as he confronts obstacles while traveling throughout a video game on a quest to go home.

The target audiences will be children and young adolescent audiences. Leo Messi currently plays for the Major League Soccer Inter Miami, after winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup with his national side, Argentina. Messi has been recognized for his sportsmanship and passion for the sport will be heavily shown throughout the series. What makes this series special is the focus on the principles of good sportsmanship, perseverance, resilience, teamwork and believing in yourself. The series will be available in English, Spanish and many more languages.
