Showing Strong Fan Support inside Gateway Center Arena for Atlanta Dream's Opening Week

The WNBA's Atlanta Dream is gearing up for an exciting opening week as two of their five home games have already sold out at the Gateway Center Arena. The home opener on Sunday, May 28 against Indiana and the Friday night matchup on June 2 against the reigning WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces are both sold to capacity, creating an exciting atmosphere at the arena.

Last season, the Atlanta Dream experienced tremendous success with eight record-setting sellouts and enthusiastic crowds in their home court. With two sellouts already achieved in the opening week of the 2023 season, the Dream is leading the league in ticket membership sales and anticipates selling out most of their home games in Atlanta this season.

Morgan Shaw Parker, Dream President & COO, expressed excitement about the strong support from Atlanta fans, stating, "Atlanta continues to show out in support of the Dream, and we are going to have an incredible five-game opening week at Gateway Center Arena starting this Sunday." Parker highlighted the team's growing ticket sales, corporate partnerships, and community programming as evidence of the rising fan excitement and the electrifying energy in the arena.

Fans attending the games are advised to arrive early and pre-pay for parking via the Ticketmaster app to streamline the entrance process and ensure a smooth entrance. While two games have sold out, limited ticket inventory is still available for the remaining three home games during the opening week.
