Regard Magazine's Summer Issue Release Party Recap

Last night we hit the carpet for a cause, AGAIN with Regard Magazine's Summer Issue Release Party at Sofitel Hotel in Beverly Hills. This special event was presented by BURN180 and hosted by Tricia Helfer who is also on the cover of the magazine. These events are always fun and about connecting but there is always communiTEA service involved too and that’s what I’m here for.

This event celebrated and supported Slavery Free World Organization founded by Marisol Nichols. She created the foundation to give a voice to the issue of modern-day slavery such as sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children on a global level. In 2017, Marisol was recognized by former President Barack Obama and presented with the President’s Distinguished Volunteer Service Award for her work in human rights and service to the community.

Now let’s get into the TEA!

Some really big names hit the red carpet and I spilled the tea with Dimitry Loiseau (Co-founder of Regard), Caitlin O’Connor (HBO’s Winning Time), Melissa L. Williams (BET’s Ruthless), Anthony Bless (BET’s Ruthless), Edward James Olomos (Selena) Dan Markel (Co-founder of BURN 180), and Todd Wittenbrock (Inventor and Co-founder of BURN 180). After the carpet, we proceeded to the dance floor to enjoy the complimentary additive-free tequila cocktails by TEPOZAN and experience live demos of the cutting-edge technologies from BURN180. Rivera31 provided light bites for us guests and offered a great selection of food and drinks to enjoy.
