Jey's decision to help his family was met by resistance from his friend, Sami Zayn. Zayn attempted to talk Jey out of returning back to a family that had treated him poorly in the past. However, he was caught talking to Sikoa in the parking lot before the show ended.

A backstage brawl between Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins ended with Reed laying Rollins out. Rollins was cutting a promo in the ring, saying Reed had awoken something inside him, when Reed showed up on the Tron. Rollins accepted Reed's challenge to a fight in the parking lot, even stomping Reed's head on a car hood. However, he was eventually taken out when Reed struck a Death Valley driver from the inside of a truck onto a pile of boxes.

In the No. 1 Contender Match for the World Tag Team Championship, the War Raiders defeated the LWO and New Day via pinfall. After Chad Gable ran in late and put Rey Mysterio in an ankle lock, the War Raiders punched their tickets to a tag title match.

Dominik Mysterio won the match via pinfall with a roll-up against Damian Priest. In the middle of Priest's dominance, Judgment Day ran in to distract the referee and attack Priest. After Priest took out Carlito and JD McDonagh, Mysterio scored the roll-up to win. In the aftermath of the match, Priest hit Mysterio with a Razor's Edge and several chair shots.
