Netflix Summer Break Event Takes Over Santa Monica Pier

Netflix made waves at the Santa Monica Pier on July 17 with a massive celebration, dedicated to its growing world of reality TV. Stars from popular shows like Love on the Spectrum, Perfect Match, Squid Game: The Challenge, and Selling Sunset gathered alongside fans for a night full of live music, special appearances, and awards.

The event was hosted by Building the Band’s AJ McLean with co-host Chrishell Stause from Selling Sunset. Performances from Abbey Romeo and the newly formed bands from Building the Band energized the crowd, and a surprise appearance by Muni Long added even more excitement.

A key highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Reality Superlative Awards, celebrating standout stars and unforgettable moments. Abbey took home Reality Star on the Rise, while AD and Ollie’s engagement won OMG Moment. Other winners included Connor and Georgie as Fave Couple and Madison as Chaos Creator.
