Netflix has released the Run Away Trailer

Netflix released the full-length trailer for RUN AWAY, Harlan Coben's next thriller starring James Nesbitt. The 8-part limited series will debut globally on Netflix on January 1, 2026.

The series follows Simon (Nesbitt), whose perfect life unravels when his eldest daughter, Paige, runs away.

When he finds her strung out on drugs in a park, an argument escalates into violence, and he loses her again. Simon’s desperate search leads him into a dangerous underworld, uncovering secrets that threaten to destroy his family. RUN AWAY, produced by Quay Street Productions, relocates the story from the US to the UK, with filming in Manchester and the North West.

Harlan Coben serves as executive producer alongside Danny Brocklehurst, Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee, and director Nimer Rash.

The series is part of Coben’s ongoing collaboration with Netflix, which includes titles like Missing You, Fool Me Once, and The Stranger. RUN AWAY follows the success of 2025’s Missing You and 2024’s Fool Me Once, which became one of Netflix’s Top 10 most-watched English-language shows.
