Natasha Clouds goes off in Liberty's debut

On Saturday, the New York Liberty hosted the Las Vegas Aces for their home opener, which kicked off their WNBA season. Prior to the game, the Liberty celebrated their championship with their presentation of their ring ceremony and got straight to business afterwards. For the most part, New York was very active on both sides of the ball. They did not allow Aja Wilson to be a factor and held her to a tough 13 points and six rebounds. Natasha Cloud and Breanna Stewart were the offensive explosion that New York needed. Cloud was everywhere, knocking down shots and looking up Chelsea Gray, while Stewie was swishing buckets in the paint. Both players combined for 23 points. New York finished the half on a 15-6 run and had a 47-33 lead heading into the third.


New York's hot shooting cold down a bit as the Aces caught fire and went on a 16-7 run to get back in the game in the third. Let's head deep into the fourth. With the Liberty struggling to find offense, Cloud was like I got your back. Cloud 9 created a storm with a sprint of her own 6-0 run to put New York up in double digits. They went onto win 92-76.
