Miranda Lambert tops Country Music Awards nomination, breaking Reba McEntire's record

Los Angeles- Despite the pandemic, the 2020 Country Music Awards are in full swing as they get ready to celebrate and show recognition to country artists.



Miranda Lambert tops the list with seven nominations breaking CMA Awards history as the first female artist to accumulate a record-breaking 55 total career nods. The record was previously held by Reba McEntire, who earned her 51st nomination this year.


Other nominees include Luke Combs with six nominations. Combs gets his first nomination for Entertainer of the Year. Maren Morris earned five nominations. Dan + Shay, producer Jay Joyce, and Carly Pearce each securing four nominations. Justin Bieber, Ashley McBryde, and Keith Urban each up for trophies in three categories.


The CMAs will be broadcasted live, WEDNESDAY, NOV. 11 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC.
