LSU women’s basketball guards Mikaylah Williams and MiLaysia Fulwiley are ready to take the SEC by storm

Fulwiley was named to the All-SEC Second Team while Williams was named to the All-SEC First Team. LSU was predicted to finish third behind South Carolina and Texas, with Vanderbilt and Kentucky rounding out the top five.
A top returning guard in the country, Williams enters her fourth season at LSU. In her junior season, she played a key role in LSU's fourth consecutive Sweet 16 appearance. Williams is one of the most prolific scorers in the women's basketball scene today and has the ability to make a significant impact on the game from anywhere on the court, both offensively and defensively.
During the course of her college career, Fulwiley has earned a reputation as one of the most creative offensive players in the country as a game-changing 5-10 guard. In three seasons, she has come off the bench in 108 games with four starts (3 at South Carolina, 1 at LSU) and averaged 12.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. Over the course of her collegiate career, Fulwiley has won one national championship, participated in two Final Fours, and reached the Sweet 16.
Williams is known for her steady leadership and ability to inspire her teammates through her consistent performance and defensive tenacity. In contrast, Fulwiley brings a dynamic presence to the court with her creative playmaking and infectious energy, often sparking momentum shifts during crucial moments in games. Together, their complementary leadership styles make them a formidable duo ready to elevate LSU's performance this season.
