Uribe previously served as the men's basketball director of sport performance at nearby Furman during the 2024-25 season. The Paladins finished 25-10, reached the Southern Conference Tournament championship game, and earned a berth in the NIT.

Before Furman, Uribe spent four seasons as the head strength and conditioning coach for UAB men's basketball. The Blazers achieved a school-record 27 wins and reached the NCAA Tournament in 2022. In 2023, UAB set a program-best with 29 wins and advanced to the NIT finals. The Blazers totaled 23 wins in 2023-24 and returned to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three seasons.

Uribe played a pivotal role in the Blazers' development and durability during these historic seasons. He also developed standout pros Jordan "Jelly" Walker and Trey Jemison after three seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette. While there, he helped the Ragin' Cajuns win the 2018 Sun Belt Conference championship and achieve a school-record 27 wins.

As an assistant strength coach for Florida men's basketball during the 2016-17 season, Uribe contributed to the Gators' NCAA Tournament run to the Elite Eight. Florida finished with 27 wins and tied the school record for third-most conference wins in school history.

Uribe's achievements highlight his exceptional ability to enhance team performance and foster player development. His track record of contributing to multiple successful seasons across various programs demonstrates his expertise in conditioning athletes for peak performance. By consistently helping teams reach new milestones, Uribe has established himself as a valuable asset in collegiate basketball.
