Goldberg's knee was a key factor in his final match of his career

In the main event, on Saturday night main event, the iconic wrestler in Goldberg fought Gunther in his last match in his hometown. The match started out a bit slow with Goldberg being the aggressor early on. Even with a bad knee, Goldberg was still moving quite good for a 58-year-old, who has not wrestled in over two decades. Things took a big turn when Goldberg tried to end Gunther with a spear but ended crashing out.

Gunther took advantage of the mistake and started attacking Goldbergs' bad knee. Gunther went io town on him but after going for a chop, Goldberg turned it around and tried to build momentum. I guess Goldberg said screw it and attempted a spear the first time. It did not work as he accidentally speared the ref. A few minutes later, after Gunther attempted to humiliate his family, Goldberg got the spear and jacked hammered him. You would think, Goldberg would win the match, but after his finisher, Goldberg had trouble pinning Gunther. Gunther took advantage and choked out Goldberg to retain his championship.
